A couple of professional exorcists are involved in the case - Ed and Lorraine Warren, who are horrified to realize what evil they are dealing with. Can paranormal researchers save the family and destroy the primitive evil that tormented the whole family?
This film is not only shrouded in secrets of creation, but also there are many of the most interesting facts:
- Plans to start filming the film have been going on for 20 long years. The idea belongs to the director Tony DeRosa-Grund, but due to financial problems shooting was constantly postponed.
- Ed and Lorraine Warren took an active part in the filming process, who stated that the events reflected in the film carry an undistorted informative load, accurately showing the events that took place with the Parrons during 10 years of residence on the farm.

This film destroyed the long-standing stereotypes with which church servants were enveloped - here they are shown by real people, each with their own fears and feelings, the imperfection of their knowledge and fears of the unknown.
2nd place - Astral / Insidious (2010)

1st place - Six demons Emily Rose / The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005)

The story that became the basis for the creation of this cinematic masterpiece actually happened in Bavaria, where a believing Catholic family lived. Having left far from home, the girl was persecuted by mysterious forces, after which she began to behave strangely, and in places did not even remember what was happening to her.
Turning to the doctors, the parents received a verdict about the craziness of Emily Rose, whom they did not want to put up with, and invited a priest who agreed to conduct a rite of exorcism. As it turned out, Emily Rose immediately possessed 6 demonic creatures that tormented her, trying to find a way out into our world.
But during the ceremony, something went wrong, and the girl died as a result of severe exhaustion from thirst and hunger. Priest Mor was sent to the dock, and the most dangerous woman lawyer took up his defense, who did not hope to reveal so many terrifying details of the case. Watching this film leaves no room for indifference, from the first shots it raises a sea of questions for which believers have been searching for answers for millennia, but have not found. The interpretation of the film is such that evil is inside each of the people, but good always leaves hope for salvation.
